If we make Magento multi store then following steps are need to follow:

There is catalog tab and according to your selection managing categories. click there on the left side of admin, there is Add Root Category button. Then arrange drop-down to yes for “Is active” as well as “Is Anchor” select or click category save button. Now go to system tab and choose the option manage stores. Click on Store Button Click on website save button. Click on create store button. Through the drop-down, choose store for website. For that name, come in main store. Here, for that name, we come in main store. Here, from the drop-down select root category and click on save store button. click to the store view button option. Choose from the drop-down main store for the store you confirm at once. Enter store for code and for status, choose from drop-down is enabled and click on save store view button. Go on system tab and choose configuration. On the top of left corner, for the current configuration scope, alter drop-down menu from default configuration. At the left corner, choose web from the sidebar. For secure as well as unsecured sections, use default box to the base URL items and enter URL for store. Don’t forget the trailing slash. Click on save button for configuration.

Now, all set-up is done and by using overall this step your new store is created.
